Holly Miller
Director of Paidion Place & Studio 3
Holly Miller was born and raised in Iowa. She attended the University of Iowa where she received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Education in December 1995. Soon after, she married her husband Scott, on June 1, 1996, and moved to Arizona in 1997. She taught First Grade locally in the public school system, before becoming a stay-at-home Mom. Scott and Holly have two wonderful children, Savannah and Cole. While staying home with them, and attending Rock Point, she found her passion for Jesus and Children’s Ministry. Holly enjoys equipping parents to lay the spiritual foundation for their children.

Jessica Sorensen
Paidion Place Coordinator
Jess and Ross have been attending Rock Point Church since 2002.  They have been happily married for 6 years and have two young children. After graduating from the University of Texas- Austin in 1990, Jess began a Sales and Marketing career that lasted until her daughter was born in 2009.  She joined the Paidion Place staff as the Volunteer Coordinator in 2011.  Jess is passionate about prayer and enjoys helping others realize a heart for prayer. She walks in gratitude to her wonderful Savior, Jesus, and wants others to deepen their own understanding of His love and truth.  She enjoys coffee with friends, parenting her kids, reading books, cooking and nutrition.

Pastor John Nichols
Director of IGNITE & VERGE
Pastor John along with his wife Amanda have been part of the Rock Point Church family since December of 2003. They have two daughters; Abbie and Olivia. Pastor John is a native to Arizona. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, has taught Fourth Grade in public schools, owned a very successful business and coached high school football at Queen Creek High School. John is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus with students and partnering with parents in the spiritual development of their students.

David Roberts
Assistant Director of FUSE
David Roberts graduated from the University of Utah with degrees in both English and Speech Communication. He has been involved in youth ministry since 2009, first as a student ministry intern at our sister church, Sun Valley Community Church in Gilbert, AZ. His interests include his lovely wife Amy, snowboarding, fantasy football, hanging out with students, and studying theology; he's a Bible nerd. The preteen age is a pivotal one in students' spiritual development and David is passionate about partnering with parents in sharing the love and gospel of Jesus with their students.

Pastor Jeff Larson
Director of FUSE & Elevate
Jeff is married to his beautiful wife Christie who he met growing up in Minnesota. They have three boys, Jordan, Blake and Kyler who make sure that they are always on their toes! Jeff came to Rock Point from Southern California where he graduated from Biola University with a degree in Christian Education with a Youth Ministry Emphasis. He spent eight years doing Jr. High and High School Ministry in Southern California before moving to Arizona and joining the Rock Point Staff.  Jeff is passionate about family, sports, and coming along side of students and pointing them to Jesus, as well as partnering with parents in the spiritual formation of their students.

Pastor Randy Deal
Director of Family Ministries
Pastor Randy currently oversees the Family Ministries Team.  His passion is to encourage and equip parents to guide their children and students to live a life that is dedicated to Jesus.    Dr. Deal is one of the founding pastors of Rock Point.
