FAQ's - Verge
Q: What is Verge?
The word Verge as a verb means to Come Near. It is our goal to come near to God as we grow and step out of our teen years and into the world. We all should be drawing near to God constantly and the name of our college ministry means just that, to Come Near.
Q: What are your service times?
Verge is COMING SOON!
Q: What do I wear?
We are laid back! Show up as you are. Shorts and a t-shirt are perfect. We want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable, so come as you are.
Q: Do you ever do events?
We are focused on building relationships and a key component to that is having fun together. We currently do a social event outside of our normal study the last Monday of every month.
Q: How old do I have to be to attend Verge?
Verge is a College aged ministry. The ages that are invited to attend and be a part of it are 18-25ish. Everyone is at a different place in their spiritual walk and we understand that some people may want to stay past 25 which is why it is 25ish. You are welcome to attend even if you are older than 25 to see if it is a good fit. We do, however, ask that if you are under 18 you attend the High School ministry, Ignite, until the age of 18. It too is an awesome ministry focused on loving God and loving People.
Q: How do I become a Verge leader?
Being a leader is very simple. Contact the Verge ministry director and let them know that you are interested in serving. Then you will be setup to meet with the director and talk about what our leaders do and where God is calling you.
